1. Who we are

This website (the "Site") is operated by Jared Robinson, a sole trader trading as "All Court Padel" ("All Court Padel", "we", "us" or "our").

For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the "data controller" responsible for your personal data.

You can contact us at:

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our Site or our coaching services, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to data we collect through our website at allcourtpadel.com, through our newsletter, and when you enquire about or take part in our coaching and lessons.

3. The personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Newsletter and contact details — your email address (and any name you provide) when you sign up to our newsletter, "Take the NET".

  • Enquiry and coaching information — your name, email address, phone number, and any details you share when you contact us or book coaching or lessons (for example, your experience level, availability, or any health information you choose to tell us so we can coach you safely).

  • Technical and usage data — information collected automatically when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you use our pages. This is gathered through Squarespace's built-in analytics and cookies.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 without the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. How we use your data and our lawful bases

Under UK GDPR, we must have a "lawful basis" for using your personal data. We use your data as follows:

  • To send you our newsletter and marketing — based on your consent, which you give when you sign up. You can withdraw it at any time (see section 6).

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide coaching or lessons — to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you.

  • To run, secure, and improve our Site — based on our legitimate interests in operating an effective and safe website.

  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations — for example, keeping records required by law.

5. Our newsletter

We send our newsletter using Beehiiv, an email marketing platform. When you subscribe, your email address (and any name provided) is stored and processed by Beehiiv on our behalf. We may see basic engagement data, such as whether emails were opened or links clicked, to help us improve what we send.

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. You can also email us to be removed.

6. Withdrawing consent

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of anything we did before you withdrew it.

7. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions, including:

  • Squarespace — our website hosting and analytics provider.

  • Beehiiv — our newsletter platform.

We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

8. International data transfers

Some of our providers (including Squarespace and Beehiiv) are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred and stored outside the UK. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, so that your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

9. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it:

  • Newsletter data — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

  • Coaching and enquiry data — for the duration of our relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and administrative needs.

We then securely delete or anonymise it.

10. Cookies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies, primarily through Squarespace, to make the Site work, to remember your preferences, and to understand how it is used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.

11. How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your personal data secure and to guard against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

12. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.

  • Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") in certain circumstances.

  • Restrict or object to our processing in certain circumstances.

  • Data portability — to receive your data in a portable format.

  • Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

13. Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve them. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator:
